RB has yet again stuck to its bureaucratic and dictatorial attitude by going back to the same old pattern of classification of Railway Services. The very spirit of introduction of Pay bands(though having its own drawbacks) by SCPC, which separated the Supervisors from the Workers, has been given a burial, fearing that it will pave way for the Rly. Supervisors to demand more privileges that are owned and usurped by the Rly. Officers.
IRTSA should vehemently oppose this classification and adopt vigorous ways to achieve the demand of Group B status to the Rly. Supervisors.
