ADDENDUM
In
continuation of this department’s communication dated 13th may, 2008, it is
stated that following modifications are made in minutes of the standing
committee meeting held on 7.5.2008. The modifications are as follows.
(a) In point
10 of the minute’s two bullet points are added as follows.

The staff side suggested that keeping in view the peculiar conditions of
the railways, Group ‘C’ employees in the scale of Rs.7450-11500 should be
upgraded to group ‘B’ posts.

The official side stated that it was for the railway ministry to take the
decision in the matter as post in the pay scale of Rs.7450-11500 are
classified as group ‘B’ in other ministries/departments.
